  Just to break it down
  
  Pros
  - Great Bakery 5/5
  - Great Service 5/5
  - Cute little shop in the middle of the street if you were walkin by 5/5
  - Accompanied by a coffee shop right next door 5/5
  
  Cons
  - Limited Seating (My favorite seat is usually by the window looking out and someone usually takes it *sad vace* lol)
  
  Before I make a review on a place, I always go there twice just to be sure that my review isn't biased and just based on my first impression of the place. I absolutely love their bakery though. Let's review a few stuff I've had:
  
  Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie $2.05 - Boy that is one of the best cookies I've had in a long time, although I wish it had more of a pumpkin/cinnamon taste to it, it's got tons of little chocolate chips which is awesome..  
  
  Dark Chocolate Espresso Cookie $2.05 - Now this cookie is like a shortbread basically, it crumbles in your mouth and then you have your bite of chocolate which is amazing how they do it. It's got enough of that coffee espresso taste to it without being overpoweringly bitter so it's one of those cookies you'd wanna have accompanied with your cup of coffee for sure.
  
  Turkey Noodle Soup $3.95 - I do think it was rather expensive for just a little cup of soup to be honest I mean it was like the size of a coffee cup basically lol. It was a lovely touch to the bakery though but I think they should lower the price by a dollar maybe.
  My advice- Don't put all your crackers in at once cuz then it makes the soup a tad bit salty hahaha
  
  Chicken Dumpling Soup $3.60- I think they lowered their price or I just don't remember how much it really cost but my buddha this is one hell of a good soup. This little bakery has become my new place to get soup because their soups are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Beats my mom's soups just by a tiny bit and my mom make's awesome soups if I say so myself haha. Doblets of dumplings accompanied with chicken chunks, carrots, celery, and a think chicken broth, I think I'm having a mouthgasim just thinkin about it hahahaha xD

  Weird mixed feelings about this place, which is why it probably doesn't have any recent reviews. Things don't add up here, it's like a mystery that needs to be unraveled but I just don't have the time.
  Love the historical look of the interior and the location. Then, the confusion starts:
  1) there is a palace bakery side and a full city side, both apparently owned by full city. Both sides serve full city coffee and the bakery side line gets held up up the barista making drinks. Why haven't they streamlined this confusing business model?
  2) there is no WiFi, not even this supposedly amazing city gigabit wizardry that's supposed to bless us now. We're literally across the street from city hall operations and park blocks and there is no WiFi. As a result, the clientele this place attracts is the retiree crowd. Not bad per say, but I'm almost 40 and I'm the youngest person here. Just why do the owners want to alienate the 90% of the population who want and need to operate like a 21st century human?
  3) The full city coffee, from the bakery side, tastes like dirt. I'm still so confused.
  
  My Marionberry strudel was delicious. But it's mid morning and they have literally 10 things left in the case to choose from. It feels less bakery/coffeeshop and more akin to a weird pit stop next to an old timey bus station or something.
  
  I know I'm being all critical and everything and truthfully I'm still so confused by this place that all my thoughts aren't able to be fully fleshed out. My pain stems from the fact that I'm a teacher, and like many teenagers I've had in class over the years, I can see the amazing potential thats obviously here, but it's not being tapped if you know what I mean.

  This bakery is a great little gem in downtown Eugene. I came here on a Sunday morning around 10 to study, and I got a veggie cornish pastry, which was flaky and delicious. The girl at the counter was also awesome and warmed it up for me without me even asking!
  There's a fair amount of seating, although I can see how it would fill up quickly during busy times, and I had an xfinity wifi hotspot so I was able to get on the internet to do some work. Note that on Sundays they don't unlock the bakery doors so you enter through the coffeeshop next door.
  Super friendly service and a great veggie cornish pastry! I just wish they had a few more pastry options, but overall this is a great spot!

  They have MyChai, which is my absolute favorite chai brand, so bonus points for that.
  An extra shot (albeit a double shot) is $1.10, probably one of the most expensive up charges I've seen for espresso outside of an airport in quite awhile.
  
  On a Sunday by 10:30am they were running real low of pastry choices, but I was able to find three different items to satisfy I my families pastry cravings.
  I would highly recommend the brownie 'bites' as they are realistic portions of their deliciously dense and rich brownies without going over board.

  This downtown bakery has plenty of choices when it comes to baked goods, including cupcakes, British meat pies, cookies, cannoli, muffins, brioche, quiche, croissants, scones ($2.50), fruit bars, cupcakes, sandwiches, and more. The decor is homey. It seems like a nice place to hang out and chat.
  
  * Lemon poppyseed scone ($2.50): a good, hearty scone with sugar crystals on top for a nice crunch, not too sweet, not too dry
  * Butter croissant: airy without many layers, not much better than a Costco croissant
  * Latte: pretty good
  
  They serve Full City Coffee which is also right next door (you can enter Full City from the side of Palace Bakery). Their baked goods are available at various Full City locations.
